PHOTOS, VIDEO: Water is Now Flowing from the New EPCOT Entrance Fountain

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the new entrance fountain in front of Spaceship Earth at EPCOT for several months. While construction continues throughout the park, the fountain is the one of the last pieces of EPCOT’s refurbished entrance remaining to be finished. The fountain, which has three lucite pylons in the center, was running today when we passed by.

The construction walls surrounding the fountain seemed to have moved slightly.

While we looked at the walls, we realized we could hear running water from the fountain.

Spotted between a sliver of “progress walls”, we saw water running along the fountain.

In fact, the fountain looks like it might be complete. You can view the water flowing in action in the video embedded below:

The fountain has come a long way since the bench was covered in old hotel carpeting. There is still some plastic wrapped around the base of the pylons, but we expect to see the fountain unveiled soon, if not sometime in the next few days.

The fountain was recently added to the My Disney Experience map as well, so it seems Disney is preparing for its reveal. Are you excited to see the entrance of EPCOT complete? Let us know in the comments.
