Morocco Pavilion Restaurants and Shops Now Closed for Short Period Ahead of Disney Takeover at EPCOT

With Disney slated to take over the Morocco Pavilion after a tumultuous restart post-pandemic, starting today, most restaurants and merchandise locations within the pavilion that were previously open are now temporarily closed.

Here’s a listing of each affected location, plus their reopening dates:

  • Souk-Al-Magreb merchandise is now closed and is expected to reopen Saturday, Dec. 12.
  • Spice Road Table is now closed and is expected to reopen Sunday, Dec. 13
  • Restaurant Marrakesh and the Medina merchandise location will remain closed until further notice.

When Spice Road Table reopens, the location will debut an updated menu featuring a variety of small plate options, such as Hummus Fries, Fried Calamari, Triopitakia and a wide selection of beverages. As a reminder, reservations for Spice Road Table are no longer available.

Additionally, the Morocco Kidcot Fun Stop will relocate to the east side of the pavilion today. The pavilion’s Sapphire Holiday Kitchen for the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will remain open.
