Rising and resisting got you thirsty? Now you can quench your galactic thirst with the new Paddy Frog souvenir sipper at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
One of Jabba the Hutt’s favorite snacks, Jabba kept a special aquarium to the left of his dais in which these creatures were kept, along with other amphibious delicacies. Typically, Paddy Frogs are found on Klatooine, but according to Traveler lore, Paddy Frogs also made their way to Batuu and Tatooine.
The sipper is now available at Docking Bay 7 and Ronto Roasters, available for $15.99 with a fountain drink or $17.49 with a Moof Juice (Docking Bay) or Tatooine Sunset (Ronto Roasters). This marks one of the first souvenir sippers since Galaxy’s Edge first opened.
Made to look like Jabba’s aquarium, the plastic sipper features intricate “wrought-iron” forged steel around the base of the orb.
It also has a sturdy handle and carrying strap.
And in case you were wondering—yes, there is a Paddy Frog inside. The figure sits on top of the light-up mechanism within the drink vessel.
Of course, these look far cuter than the ones shown in Return of the Jedi:
(Jabba soaked his paddy frogs in brandy. I suggest you do the same.)
On the bottom, you have the on/off button for the sipper, which is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Upon removing the top cap, you’ll see it’s the usual basic plastic straw connected to the container base.
Part of a balanced Batuu breakfast. Will you be heading over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get one of these sippers for yourself? Let us know in the comments!
