It looks like work on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is nearing its final phases. Soon, ride vehicles may be once again be silently moving over Tomorrowland. The long-time Magic Kingdom favorite has not operated since Walt Disney World reopened in mid-July.
Throughout the refurbishment, PeopleMover vehicles were spread throughout the length of the attraction’s track. We noticed Cast Members testing ride vehicles just over a week ago. Paint crews recently finished the refurbishment of the ride’s supports. Today, ride vehicles were seen reconnected as a full train.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is scheduled to reopen January 9. Signs seem to indicate that Disney should meet that deadline.

This has always been a favorite of mine. No visit is ever complete until I’ve taken a relaxing ride around Fantasyland. Thank God Disney Engineers realize what an important part of the Past and Present Disneyworld.
