New Toy Story Mania & Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek Tomica Die-Cast Ride Vehicles Coming to Tokyo Disney Resort

Tokyo Disney Resort has been on a roll lately releasing new additions to their Tomica die-cast ride vehicle collection, with Big Thunder Mountain and Pooh’s Hunny Hunt coming out in the past couple of weeks. Now that line is expanding even more, with new die-cast vehicles of Toy Story Mania at Tokyo DisneySea, and Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek at Tokyo Disneyland coming to the parks on December 23rd!

Toy Story Mania Tomica – ¥2000 ($19.34)

The Toy Story Mania Tomicas appear to be extremely detailed, with stickers depicting all of the same decals as shown on the attraction’s actual ride vehicles. Each car even has yellow and green cannons players use to experience the attraction (sans strings, however).

The cars can even rotate on their base, just like on the actual attraction! The only key differences seem to be that every car is labeled with Woody and has yellow and green cannons. But that’s a minor detail to overlook compared to the rest of the precision on the vehicle.

Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek Tomica – ¥1800 ($17.41)

Ever so slightly cheaper is the ride vehicles from Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek in Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland. These vehicles, like the Toy Story Mania variant, also come on bases that can interlock to create an actual set of ride vehicles! Each detail is faithfully recreated (flashlights aside) to create an excellent display piece of the beloved Tokyo Disneyland attraction.

Even the reverse sections are accurate to their in-park appearance!

And just like Toy Story Mania, these also rotate on their bases similar to the actual attraction. If you’re curious about Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek, you can check out our POV video on YouTube!

Both of these detailed Tomica ride vehicles will be available for sale at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, as well as at Bon Voyage and through the Tokyo Disney Resort App starting December 23rd, so be sure to pick one up next time you visit Tokyo Disney Resort!
