Magic Kingdom
- Disney has confirmed that three more restaurants at the Magic Kingdom will serve breakfast for the holiday week — Westward Ho, The Friar’s Nook, and The Lunching Pad
- Scrim has been wrapped around the Main Street, U.S.A. train station at Magic Kingdom for a week now and just as the lower half of scrim was replaced with themed scrim that looked like the station a few days ago, now the upper scrim is also themed
EPCOT
- The refurbished East Security Pavilion at EPCOT, which we reported was near completion a few days ago, is now finished and open, and we have your up-close look at it
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- After seeing the Diet Coke droid cart make the jump to hyperspace to travel from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland to the East Coast iteration in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for the Sprite droid cart and thanks to some of our readers, we now know the Sprite droid has arrived in Florida as well
Disney Springs
- A gargoyle has arrived atop Gideon’s Bakehouse, the new bakery opening any day now at Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has reopened just for the next few weeks as Walt Disney World gets busier for the holidays, and we have your full review including a look at the two new holiday cocktails on the menu
Other Walt Disney World News
- As announced a few days ago, the Electrical Water Pageant has returned to Walt Disney World, and you can watch a full video of the triumphant return here
- Disney fan and WDWNT reader Jeffrey has created a miniature version of the Walt Disney World Electrical Water Pageant that includes 12 floats powered by 12-volt batteries, and you can see the video of the mini-pageant here
Disneyland Resort
- Through the 3D modeling software Blender, artist Rob Yeo has created “Tomorrowland 2055″—a landscape based on Art Deco-themed concept art Imagineers drew up for a Disneyland rebrand in the 1990’s that never came to pass
Tokyo Disney Resort
- One of the defining characteristics of Tokyo Disney Resort’s monorail system (aptly called the Disney Resort Line) is that guests are required to pay a fare in order to ride, and one option to do so is by purchasing an unlimited use pass for 1-4 days featuring cute designs that change often, and starting January 6th, a new design, themed to the newly-introduced Type C monorails on the Disney Resort Line, will be released
- We took a visit to the Toy Story Hotel, being built in the Bayside area of the Tokyo Disney Resort, to check out the latest progress and see how far the project has come this month

- Insight Editions is releasing a new Star Wars baking book through their Weldon Owen Imprint — Star Wars: Galactic Baking will feature over 30 recipes inspired by the universe of Star Wars
