The skies over the Magic Kingdom were ablaze tonight with the third fireworks test since the reopening of Walt Disney World. This actually marks the second fireworks testing at the Magic Kingdom, the first of which took place just last month. Eventually this led to the addition of low-level bursts to the Cinderella Castle Holiday Projection show. Tonight’s test included really big, flashy perimeter fireworks. Check out some of the stills below:

Permits for Project Nugget were first filed in early August, believed to be the codename for the 50th anniversary fireworks spectacular coming to the Magic Kingdom next year, however it’s unknown exactly what tonight’s fireworks tests were for.
