The new entrance fountain at EPCOT featuring three lucite pylons has now been fully revealed.
Nearly two weeks ago, we saw water running from the fountain and knew that it would be soon be complete. And even more recently, Walt Disney Imagineering’s Zach Riddley shared an Instagram post showing the fountain fully finished.
While the tall pylons were somewhat visible before, we can now see them in all their glory with the construction walls gone, playfully catching and reflecting light.
The fountain was the last major component of EPCOT’s new entrance to be complete. Over the past few months, we’ve also seen refurbishment done on the East Security Pavilion as well as a new color scheme for the ticketing booths.
So while construction carries on throughout the park on future attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the France Pavilion expansion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and the World Showcase Lagoon fountains that will be part of Harmonious, guests’ initial view of Spaceship Earth is no longer marred by walls, inviting guests to the wonder of EPCOT.
You can see even more of these lucite beauties in the YouTube video embedded below:

Have to admit I like the more open entrance to Epcot and the lucite pillars. I think the new lighting on Spaceship Earth will also be a great addition.
I like the fountain and the pylons, but still no match for what was my absolute favorite fountain in all of WDW…the Fountain of Nations in EPCOT. I have great memories of grabbing a coffee at Starbucks and watching the fountain in action with it’s fantastic musical soundtrack.
