As announced a few days ago, the Electrical Water Pageant has returned to Walt Disney World. This comes after the pageant was seen out for some test runs. It suspended operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed showings today.
The Electrical Water Pageant premiered on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for “Dedication Day” at Walt Disney World on October 25, 1971, and the floating nighttime parade has been entertaining guests with whimsical sea creatures and classic Disney tunes ever since.
This light-up pageant is led by a green sea serpent.
Fourteen floats make up the Electrical Water Pageant, including four for the sea serpent alone.
The lights all dance to famous songs from The Little Mermaid, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and other Disney films.
