Cast Members Unblocked From Disney’s Hollywood Studios On Select January Weekdays

For the first time in a year, Cast Members can visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios with their Main Entrance Pass. The park has been blocked out for Cast Members due to high demand since Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The following January weekdays are now available for the next two weeks:

  • Tuesday, January 19 through Thursday, January 21
  • Tuesday, January 26 through Thursday, January 28

Cast Members will still need to make Park Pass reservations for these days to visit the park, or park-hop from another park after 2:00 PM. As of now, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has open Park Pass availability for all ticket types on these days.

Did you get the heads up before they actually unblock those days? Do you know when they will do it? I just went to the hub and it still shows blocked out for us… even tried to make a reservation and it won’t let me.

Yet everything past the 31st of January is still in limbo. Very frustrated with what they are doing to thier cast members. No wonder so many of them seem “less magical” these days. They’ve basically been stripped of any perks of working for the mouse.

Of course they lift it. Business is slow and they canned 35k CMs so why not get rid of the blackout? Worked in that area and never got to ride it. Will not be using my last tix for those dates. If you all really “cared” about CMs you would stop visiting these parks and continue to let the company suffer. Most of us had to suffer working there for years, the least they could do is “suffer” for a year or two.
