Disney Cast Member Helps Save Woman From Domestic Violence Heard While Booking Tickets

A Disney Cast Member may have saved the life of a woman suffering from domestic violence earlier this month. The woman called to purchase Walt Disney World park tickets on January 9th, when the cast member heard the woman saying “Get off me” and “Get away from me” to someone who was with her while she was on the phone.

Sensing trouble, the Disney employee asked yes or no questions to the woman, such as if she was actually needing to purchase park tickets. The woman responded “no.” The cast member then asked if she needed law enforcement assistance. When the woman responded “yes” the cast member contacted Northern York County Regional Police in Dover, Pennsylvania, where the woman was.

When officers arrived at the home, they found that the woman and her 38-year-old boyfriend had been arguing, according to the report. The woman told police that he’d choked her three times and slapped her.

The boyfriend was arrested and faces both misdemeanor and felony charges. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 1st.

  1. A bit shout out to this cast member. Well done! I hope the jerk rots in jail and I hope the victim of his abuse will be able to recover and find someone who treats her better. My heart and prayers go out to both her and the CM.

  2. That’s awesome that she had the intuition to ask those questions and stay calm in order to do what needed to be done to help that woman and call the police to arrest that jerk.

  3. Some people are oblivious to others. Kudos to this CM who was aware and actually went the extra step to help another human. Here’s to people helping people

  4. That CM truly went above and beyond, and exemplified what Disney used to stand for – outstanding and legendary service! Kudos to that CM. I hope Disney recognizing their efforts.

  5. Good Job for Disney Cast Member! They were Smart, others would have just let her buy the dammm tickets for the money! They should work for law Enforcement, not Disney. Even though my children & I love this place, but the cast members calling is not here, only for this one reason only, Now it’s been fullfield!🎉🎊🙂🎊🙂🎊
