EPCOT and Hollywood Studios Disney Skyliner Lines Closed for Maintenance This Week

The Disney Skyliner is the newest transportation option to travel around the Walt Disney World Resort. We have previously reported that one Skyliner route will be unavailable tomorrow, January 24th. However, if you are currently at Walt Disney World or are planning a trip in the next week, you may experience some additional disruptions in the aerial gondola’s service.

The upcoming maintenance schedule is as followed:

  • Sunday, January 24th, 2021: The Disney Skyliner line to/from Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be closed. The Disney Skyliner will still run to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
  • Tuesday, January 26th, 2021: The Disney Skyliner route to/from Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closed.
  • Thursday, January 28th, 2021: The Skyliner route to/from EPCOT’s International Gateway will be closed.

If you are staying at any affected resort on a Skyliner route, buses will be offered in lieu of the gondola service.

  1. Quick question. First time using Skyliner since pandemic began. Have a reservation for Epcot on Monday and plan to park hop to Hollywood Studios in afternoon. Can we park at Hollywood Studios in morning and take Skyliner to Epcot? Mainly wondering if they will let us park there without a reservation (as this is where we plan to end our day) and if we can take Skyliner not being a resort guest. Thanks!
