It’s another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Yesterday was the last day for the holiday offerings around the parks and the decorations have been removed from around the Universal Studios arch.
The Christmas music has also stopped and the park is back to their usual area background music.
The Christmas tree is still up as well as the Holiday Tribute Store facade. These should start to come down very soon.
Revenge of the Mummy is closed temporarily for refurbishment.
We stopped into Central Park Crepes and grabbed a Cookies and Cream crepe for a late breakfast.
Crowds this morning were great. It pays to get up early!
Over at Islands of Adventure, most of the decorations around Seuss Landing have been removed. We’re going to miss all the Whos and the Grinch!
The Chicken and Funnel Cake has been removed from the menu at Green Eggs and Ham. We heard that something new might be coming to the menu, so we’ll be keeping an eye out.
Crowds are always the worst in Hogsmeade, but today wasn’t too bad. Much better than the holiday crowds!
The morning was quiet, but the park got busier later in the afternoon.
Scaffolding has gone up around the fence near the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. We’ll be back again soon, so be sure to stay tuned to WDWNT and Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
