The Expression Section paint-by-numbers mural has opened with social distancing at the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2021.
Guests first go to a station to pick up their paint and assignment.
Each person receives a cup of paint and a brush. We were given a choice from five colors of paint and picked color #3, which is purple. We were told to paint 8 squares.
After picking up the paint, guests wait in a socially distanced line for the mural. Each guest is assigned a different section to stand in while painting and the sections are separated by stanchions.
The Cast Member told us we could either go to section 8 or section 2, based on our color. We went to section 8.
After painting 8 squares, guests can then throw away their paint and brush in these bins.
Finally, the Cast Member at the end of the experience hands out a bookmark print of what the final mural will look like. This mural is a Van Gogh-inspired nighttime skyline of EPCOT.
