Sadly, this is one mystery even the great Dr. Jones can’t solve. The Indiana Jones truck near the entrance to Backlot Express has been removed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The truck had been the centerpiece of a small merchandise stand near the entrance of the “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!” With the show closed until further notice and the theater transformed into a mobile order waiting area, this is just another disappointing sight for fans of the beloved adventurer.

All that remains of the location is a gray shed with themed ropes and a map on the door. Beyond that and the netting above, you’d be hard-pressed to know that this had anything to do with the show just around the corner.

The one advantage this offers is a clearer path to Backlot Express.

Will the truck, stand, or show ever return to the park? Only time will tell. Until then, all we can do is keep searching for “fortune and glory.”

  1. I am absolutely shocked an appalled. Never has Disney hurt me this much before. I’ve taken my kids, my grandkids, and my great grandkids to that exact spot for pictures with the truck. Now it’s just one. I’ll miss you so much truck from Star Wars

  2. Its almost a sure thing this is not coming back. Ive known about this for at least 5 months now. Just surprised it didnt happen sooner.
