What a difference a day makes. Just the other day we noticed that paneling had been removed from Innoventions West at EPCOT. During yesterday’s visit, we saw that even more exterior features have been removed.

Workers have removed the exterior framing from the stairwell (left). Glass panels and non-structural column trim has been removed from the area to the right of the stairwell. The column to the right still has its decorative cover.

The stairwell provided access to the upper level.

Roof access was also available from the stairwell. Notice the ladder at the right of the beige landing.

The former Innoventions West building has been reduced to steel and a roof. This EPCOT area is being transformed into World Celebration Neighborhood. This structure will be demolished to make room for Moana – Journey of Water.
