Getting just the right photo doesn’t have to be difficult. A new photo opportunity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom allows guests to pose with characters from Disney and Pixar’s Up. Let’s take a look.
Physical distancing markers are in place to keep parties separated as they wait.
A Disney PhotoPass photographer is available. Guests are free to use their own cameras, phones, or tablets to take a photo. Since June, PhotoPass photographers may no longer use your device to take a photo. The change is due to COVID-19 health and safety measures.
The photo opportunity has foreground art and a backdrop. Guests stand between the two.
It is almost like stepping into a giant shadowbox.
Russell and Dug are here. A few of Kevin’s chicks watch them.
The Disney’s Animal Kingdom logo is in the lower left corner.
Kevin!
The artwork is colorful and detailed. We really like Kevin’s chicks.

So will this be the new normal? No more characters, we get to pose with a cardboard cutout stand??? I can pay less for same opportunity on Amazon.
