For months now, we’ve watched the triangular tiles of the future Play! Pavilion in EPCOT be replaced. However, the roof replacement came to a halt more than a month ago with one old tile still remaining.
Here’s what the one bright yellow tile has looked like on the old Wonders of Life Pavilion.
Finally, the tiling is complete and cohesive as of today, with the final tile replaced.
Here is what the Play! Pavilion looks like in the EPCOT Experience model. The structures on top of the model are only to show what the interior of the building will look like and will not actually be on top of the pavilion.
This concept art shows that the exterior of the building is seemingly complete, though construction walls currently block where the Play! sign and gardens will be.
Inside, the Play! Pavilion will have interactive experiences inspired by Disney movies such as Wreck-it Ralph, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and The Incredibles.
