Construction crews are adding a menacing detail to the upcoming Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Raptors are currently being installed above the attraction’s entrance. Guests will encounter more raptors on the ride.
We noticed the raptors being lowered in by a crane.
Once lowered into place, crews work to attach the raptor to the structure.
The raptors are covered in a protective wrap.
One raptor is installed on each side of the attraction entrance.
A zoom lens allows for a closer look.
Once the raptors were secured, construction workers remained on the roof.
Look closely between the two raptors. A Jurassic World logo will eventually be placed here.
Wiring and conduit can be seen to the left of this raptor. The attraction’s entrance isn’t the only place that we found new raptors. Two additional raptors are being installed near the bypass bridge.
A construction lift is used to lower the figure onto the base.
Like the other raptors, this girl is covered in protective wrap.
A second rock base is to the left of the first. Soon after the first raptor was installed, the second arrived.
The lift operator begins to move the raptor into position.
The tail is just visible above the wall.
Once the raptor is in place, a construction worker secures it to the rock base.
