While construction inside the TRON Lightcycle / Run show building has come to a halt, the framework of the ride’s illuminated canopy is almost complete.
Temporary supports have been erected around the portion of track leading into the building.
The track’s entrance has been closed off and some sort of support juts out from the side of the building.
Most of the paneling is complete and the building is completely sealed.
The canopy framework covers much of the track closest to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
From the other side of the track, we can see canopy pieces awaiting installation.
The edge of the canopy framework curves down and then up next to the show building.
Once the canopy is complete, the reddish-brown supports will be removed and we’ll be easily see the beautiful shape that will loom over Tomorrowland.
Unfortunately, the attraction will not be open in time for the park’s 50th anniversary this year and there is not a projected opening date. Until then, you can watch our POV of TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai Disneyland below.
