Permit Filed for Signage at Long-Delayed Toy Story Land Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant

Walt Disney World has filed a new permit for Sign Producers, Inc. to fabricate and install the sign for Roundup Rodeo BBQ . This new table service restaurant will be located in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Last summer, permits were filed for the support structure installation at the restaurant. Roundup Rodeo BBQ was slated to open in summer 2020, but like many other projects at Walt Disney World Resort, construction was delayed due to the pandemic.

When the new restaurant opens, Guests will be immersed with toy pals in the western atmosphere of Woody’s Roundup, providing a fun, family-friendly dining experience for Toy Story Land. The dining establishment will be constructed from Andy’s favorite larger-than-life playsets and games.

Once inside, you’ll be surrounded by all of the rodeo festivities in-action as well as western town and train station play sets. And you just might spot some of your favorite Disney•Pixar characters scattered throughout the restaurant in the form of toys and game pieces including a toy version of Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy and unique toy versions of Bo Peep and her sheep, all who appear to be performing in the rodeo together.

  1. Do you think this will be the all-you-can-eat style restaurant that Big Thunder Ranch BBQ at Disneyland was (before it became Stars Land)? Because I would be so excited. Big Thunder Ranch BBQ was a good place to eat and you got your money’s worth.

  2. If this sign doesn’t show Hamm on a spit with an apple in his mouth, being turned by Woody and Buzz consider it a failed concept
