Hello from a beautiful day here at Walt Disney World! The weather is finally feeling a bit more like the Florida we all know and love, with highs in the upper seventies today. We took advantage of the wonderful weather and headed to the Magic Kingdom first to check out what might be new. Let’s get started!
We found the Liberty Square Riverboat docked and ready to go this morning bright and early. Trips aboard the Liberty Belle start at 9:30am daily. For more pictures, information, and a video of the full ride aboard this classic attraction, check out our article here.
Tom Sawyers Island also reopened to guests today, with a line forming about thirty minutes prior to the posted opening time. Guests were eager to get to the Island the explore what might have been changed or added. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found work on the front of Bonjour! Village gifts complete, and the planter wall and scrim was moved to the side of the building only. A worker could be seen drawing on and painting this wall.
We found that the FastPass kiosks at Mickey’s PhilharMagic, which have been covered since the parks reopened over the summer, have had no stroller parking icons spray painted on to them.
We found some new merchandise in the parks today, starting with this “The Child” streetwear baseball hat, which we found at The Emporium for $27.99.
Next, we found this pack of four infant headbands, each representing a different classic princess, at Sir Mickey’s for $14.99.
We found a new character photo frame featuring both classic and newer princesses at The Emporium for $24.99.
Our favorite find of the day was this ceramic dish of Main Street, USA, complete with Cinderella Castle. We’re assuming it’s a sponge holder, but it could be used for other things too. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom, but we wanted to check out Disney’s Hollywood Studios before calling it a day.
This “Ohana” Patched piece caught our eye, which features Stitch. We found it at Once Upon A Time for $9.99.
We found two new journals, both late additions to the Disney Dogs and Cats line. With themed tabs and a pen on top, these spiral bound journals are sure to help get pet lovers organized. We found these at Mickey’s of Hollywood for $22.99 each.
The Disney Junior Stars Motorcade always makes everyone dance, and we’re no exception! It was nice to see these lovely ladies on our way out. We had a wonderful day at Walt Disney World, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
Totally thought those covers were showing the Hunger Games Logo when I was just scrolling through my news feed hahaha.
