The roof of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has already received its weatherproof sheathing. Now that the front facade has been fully enclosed with wood paneling, the next step is to cover it with the same weatherproofing membrane. The installation of this sheathing is seemingly complete on the upcoming EPCOT attraction.

The front facade of the attraction is now covered in an air-tight, water-tight, and weather-tight membrane. Though construction hasn’t been active today, materials and equipment remain on-site as the building awaits new additions.

There are many layers to the facade. Steel beams were installed, which were then covered by wood panels, and now the blue membrane seals it all from the elements.

Scaffolding remains on either side of the “V” facade as construction continues.

Installed about a week ago, pink insulation can be seen popping out on top of the panels on the right side.
