As of Monday, the Mad Tea Party at the Magic Kingdom is closed for refurbishment.
Green scrim now adorns the Fantasyland attraction as refurbishment begins.
Playful signs right out of Alice in Wonderland line the scrim with sayings as a fun way to let guests know that the ride is now closed but will be back soon.
Oh my, Oh me, We’ve run out of Tea,
We’ll party again soon.
The physical distanced-marked queue is currently being utilized as an unofficial stroller parking area.
The green fencing completely covers the perimeter of the attraction.
As refurbishment begins, the lights on the attraction remain on.
With the refurbishment scheduled to last through March 4th, Mad Tea Party will reopen on March 5th. This is the latest classic Magic Kingdom attraction to get spruced up in anticipations of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”.
