PHOTOS: Transformation of MouseGear, Innoventions East Continues at EPCOT
As the transformation of EPCOT continues, we’ve been keeping you up-to-date with information on Harmonious and updates on Innoventions East and West. In our last update, we shared information on the refurbishment of MouseGear and now even more exterior work has been done.
Construction is very active today as high reaches are abundant and crews are working.
Wood and metal framing has taken shape in preparation of new windows that will cover nearly the entire exterior of the building.
Workers are seen working on the roofing of the building as well.
As the roof currently receives materials, heavy machinery is seen beyond the construction walls.
It seems like it’s all-hands-on-deck this morning as interior work is being completed as well. Above we see multiple doorways into MouseGear taking shape.
The central post from Pin Central is STILL standing.
Plenty of entryways and new windows, marked with a blue “X,” can be seen as MouseGear receives its refurbishment.
As reported the other day, the old Centorium entrance has been destroyed, but we can see there appears to be an entrance here as well.
On the other end of Innoventions East, the work on the overhang continues.
Windows and paneling have been installed beginning at MouseGear, but we expect additional framework to make its way on this end very soon. This side is expected to house a new counter service restaurant, as well as the new bakery and Starbucks location.
