As we previously reported, Raya and the Last Dragon will be coming to Disney+ Premier Access along with its theatrical release on March 5th.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Premier Access feature, it is an opportunity for Disney+ subscribers to avoid the theatre and watch the movie from home at the same time as its theatrical debut, for an additional fee. If you don’t want to wait to see the film but you also don’t want to go out during a pandemic, the $29.99 price tag might be just the ticket for you—especially when you factor in the price of multiple tickets, snacks, and other costs of going to the theatre… It adds up.
But, for those who can handle the wait, Disney has announced that Raya and the Last Dragon will be available to stream for free (with the cost of a Disney+ subscription, of course) on June 4th.
Will you be purchasing Raya and the Last Dragon in March, or will you be waiting until it’s free for subscribers on June 4th? Let us know in the comments below!
I’ll be seeing it in the theater! Popcorn, coke and m&ms! Finally Back to the movies after a whole year! My kids can’t wait
$30 is too much. My entertainment threshold is $20 for videos.
