Hong Kong Disneyland has been opened for nearly a month now after reopening three times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, attractions still need to undergo maintenance, inspection, and routine refurbishment. Thanks to Disney Magical Kingdom Blog on Twitter, we now know that two attractions that are temporarily closed are Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars and Geyser Gulch.

Surrounded by Bamboo scaffolding (which we’ve never seen in a Disney Park) and white canvases, Big Grizzly Mountain is currently receiving its refurbishment that is set to last through April 16th.

Workers are very active on this site as the scaffolding towers over the mountain.

Brown scrim is laid on top of fencing, but the work being done on the mountain is still very visible.

Drained of water, the Geyser Gulch area is preparing for its upcoming refurbishment as well as buckets and other items are being stored here.
