Walt Disney Imagineering is reorganizing their Executive Leadership Team again and moving executives Bob Weis and Barbara Bouza into new roles. Bob Weis was previously the President of Walt Disney Imagineering — he will now step into the role of President of Creative and New Experiences at WDI. Barbara Bouza is stepping into the role of President of Business Management, Design, and Development after her short time as President of Business Operations, Design, and Delivery.

Weis’ new position will charge him with finding new creative ideas to add to Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. Before his time as WDI President, Weis worked as Creative Director for the Shanghai Disney Resort. Weis also worked on a five-year expansion of Disney’s California Adventure, the original concept of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as conceptual design for Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland.
Barbara Bouza was welcomed onto the Imagineering team last year after a career as Co-Managing Director and President of Gensler Los Angeles. She began with Walt Disney Imagineering as President of Business Operations, Design & Delivery. Her new role of President of Business Management, Design, and Development will see her more focused on the business side of the Walt Disney Imagineering organization.

More leadership roles, more executive pay + benefits, and more bureaucracy. That’s what the Disney company is all about – increasing company value and stock price at the sacrifice of magic and Guest experience. Color me unimpressed.
bet they are some of the new disney “woke” folks. any takers?
