MagicMobile Pass Menu Now Available in My Disney Experience App

Walt Disney World will soon be introducing the Disney MagicMobile service, which allows guests to access some MagicBand features directly from their smartphone. The service is going to be rolled out in phases this year, and the menu is now available to users of the My Disney Experience app.

Guests can find the Disney MagicMobile Pass in the app’s list of menus.

The page says “Coming Soon!” and has some information about Disney MagicMobile Pass, which allows guests to enter theme parks and connect PhotoPass images to their accounts.

Though the MagicMobile Pass is similar to a MagicBand, MagicBands will still function and be available for purchase. See our previous post for more information.

    • No, you don’t need to add a bank account to Apple Wallet in order to use the service. I would still recommend doing so if you wish to use contactless payment inside and out of the parks (Contactless Payment works in basically all areas of the parks, including restaurants) , using Apple Pay. It makes everything way more convenient and it even works with Mobile Ordering inside of My Disney Experience.

    • Disney mentioned that for other devices (specifically Android) will release later this year, there will most likely be a report here on WDWNT once this launches.
