PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 3/4/21 (Jumping Fountains Return, New Menu Items At Sunshine Seasons, Restaurant Marrakesh Menus Removed, and More)

Hello from a cooler but lovely day at EPCOT! We’re glad that we had a warm, sunny day yesterday for the opening of the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival yesterday, but our luck seemed to wear a bit thin today as it was colder and rather windy. We still took to the park to find what new things there might be there to show you. Let’s get started!

Checking in on construction around the park, we found no visible progress had been made on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We hear work being done here every day, but most if not all of it is hidden from view, mostly inside the building. We did see some workers on the roof today, but they seemed to be patching some work they had done previously.

It was a similar story at the Morocco Pavilion restrooms, except no work has been heard being done here.

We saw a man lift in the France Pavilion expansion, but we could not see what the operator was working on.

Over at Innoventions East, construction continues in the building with metal framing still being added in the ceiling.

We also noticed a new directional sign had been added on the way out of the park. This sign is in between Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Mouse Gear.

With construction updates out of the way, we moved on to more exciting things. We found the Jumping Fountains in the Imagination Pavilion back on for the first time since the reopening of the park. For more pictures and information, including a video of the fountains, check out our article here.

Nearby at The Land Pavilion, we found several additions to the menu at Sunshine Seasons, including this Mediterranean Flatbread and Chicken Stir Fry. For more pictures and information, including our full review, check out our article here.

We also found a new menu item at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company, although technically this drink was always an option but didn’t have an official name. The “Game Changer” is cold brew coffee with a shot of espresso, Irish cream syrup, and light cream. We know some people who consider the Irish cream syrup to be a “game changer” to their coffee, so we think this drink is aptly named.

We found a new addition in the World Showcase Pavilion with this photo opportunity wall. Move over Bubblegum Wall, the Flower & Garden wall is here! We even see a hidden Mickey in the flowers.

In the United Kingdom Pavilion, we found a map for a self-guided Tea Tour at the Tea Caddy. The Tea Garden is just outside of this shop, so you’re ready to get started on your tour right away.

Although Restaurant Marrakesh has been closed since the park reopened, the original menus have remained in place on either side of the door. Today we found that they had finally been removed and replaced with these fake tile foam boards. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Nearby we found the lights on in the former Jasmine and Aladdin meet and greet area for the first time in several months.

Yesterday at The Joy of Tea, we found a drink special, but today it had been removed. We also noticed that the cutlery and napkin dispensers were still decorated for the International Festival of the Arts, but today the decorations had been switched out for the International Flower & Garden Festival.

We had a wonderful day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
