Hello from another magical day here at the Magic Kingdom! Each day is steadily getting warmer as we recover from the cold snap we had last week and weekend. Today started out a little chilly, but it warmed up nicely, although there was a bit of a breeze today. We had a quiet day here, but we still found some exciting things to show you, so let’s get started!
The concrete work at the entrance and exit of the Tomorrowland Speedway yesterday was shifted slightly today, as yesterday’s patch was completed and a new patch was replaced overnight. At the exit, carpets were laid over the fresh cement to allow guests to safely cross over it on their way out of the attraction.
At the entrance, a roped-off section to the left of the walkway forced the queue to flow around it but meant that guests did not have to cross over the fresh cement as they did yesterday.
The workers at the construction site for TRON Lightcycle / Run have placed an American Flag at the highest point of the recently assembled section of the illuminated canopy at the corner of the show building. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Plexiglass dividers have been added to the loading area of The Barnstormer, and every row of the ride vehicle is being filled with guests, even if they’re not in the same party. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
While yesterday we saw that Gaston’s Fountain had been drained, and today we found it had been refilled. No obvious work or cleaning appears to have been done, although the fountain was not running.
In the Town Square Theater, the PhotoPass counters in this area have been removed, allowing for more room for merchandise displays. The counters and registers in the other parts of the store remain in place.
We saw some filming taking place in Liberty Square today, and couldn’t help but wonder if we might see something released about The Hall of Presidents sometime in the near future. We’ll be keeping an eye open for any new developments!
While we didn’t notice any larger than normal crowds, we did find some lines that were longer than usual. The queue for Tomorrowland Speedway was switchbacked in front of the attraction several times, filling the walkway, causing thru-traffic to have to cross the path and walk on the other side of the walkway.
We found the line for Liberty Square Market looped back all the way to the door for the temporarily unavailable Hall of Presidents.
We found a new lanyard today at The Emporium which fulfills all of our rainbow dreams. It retails for $12.99.
We found a new mystery pin box at Frontier Trading Post featuring characters from “Hercules”.
We also found the third installment of the “Where Fantasy Grows: A Disney Terrarium Series” pin line featuring Flit from “Pocahontas”. For more pictures and information on both of these pins, check out our article here.

the best thing would be to remove the use of masks as people like me who cannot use masks because it affects us due to our condition of asthma and collapsed lung.
Where are you supposed to go now if you have PhotoPass issues in Magic Kingdom?
With regards to long lines such as the one at Tomorrowland Speedway, just reinstate FP+ already!! I’d be pissed if I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and had to wait in a long line for that.
