After a nearly three-month long refurbishment, Kali River Rapids has reopened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The annual refurbishment was originally scheduled through February 19, before being extended to April 2 (it’s still listed as closed on the Walt Disney World website). Work must have completed early however, as the ride was open today, March 29.
The main sign for the attraction was still covered.
An A-frame sign instead stood on the sidewalk.
We saw plenty of guests in line and riding the attraction.
It’s standard for water rides to close during winter months for cleaning and general maintenance, so there were no major changes to Kali River Rapids.
Keep checking WDWNT for updates on other refurbishment projects.
I haven’t been on this ride in a while. Is Disney still accusing us of being evil because people might want to take down trees to create farm land?
