The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover refurbishment has been extended multiple times since the ride closed in March 2020, and most recently until April 3, 2021.

We reported several days ago that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was seen testing after several weeks of silence. Today, Cast Members are doing more work on the attraction.

Cast Members lifted a metal panel to do some work on the mechanisms that make the ride work. The panel is located right next to where the track is laid.

We are hopeful that whatever may have caused the unexpected delay in the attraction’s reopening is rectified by April 3.

  1. This ride will reopen in April 2021 the same way it opened in April 2020 and all the months since then.

  2. I am in fact excited for the attraction to reopen, but I have no faith that it will be operational by the time I’m there mid May.

  3. I was there in January when it was supposed to open. So now I’ll be back in mid May. It better be open!
