Earlier this week, we saw planters surrounding a patch of pavement beneath Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. The planters are now gone, revealing the new grey pavement that is slowly replacing the old red pavement.

The grey pavement better matches the rest of EPCOT’s refurbished entrance. The rest of the red pavement will probably be slowly replaced in the coming weeks.

This is just the latest development in EPCOT’s major refurbishment of what is currently called Future World and will eventually be separated into different “neighborhoods.” The entrance and main hub of EPCOT will soon be World Celebration.
