PHOTOS: Final Piece of Innoventions West Breezeway Removed During Demolition at EPCOT

Innoventions West is seemingly just days away from a complete demolition. As of this morning, the final piece of the breezeway that connected the area behind Spaceship Earth to Future World West has been removed.

The only remnants left of Innoventions West are a few pieces of framing that we expect to disappear any day now.

Yesterday a large piece of structural framing still stood to the right of Spaceship Earth as shown in the photo above. Today that entire piece is gone, and only a small section of the former building remains.

The sides of these metal structures are likely to be demolished any day now.

The final piece of the Future World West Breezeway is now gone, leaving just a few remaining structural supports for the former Art of Disney store to the right.

The Art of Disney store, as well as the rest of the connecting area that made up Innoventions West, are being demolished to make way for the Journey of Water attraction that will live in the new World Celebration Neighborhood. The demolition, and soon to be construction project, are all part of a newly reimagined EPCOT.
