PHOTOS: Universal Studios Store Legacy Makeover Continues with Props from Dueling Dragons, Harry Potter, Marvel, and More at Universal Orlando Resort

The Universal Studios Store at CityWalk is in the midst of a retro-themed makeover. As it transforms into its new legacy theme, a multitude of fun movie props and memorabilia paying homage to the theme park’s 30-year history has been added to every inch of the store.

The retro vibes start in the windows, where mannequins can be found wearing neon colors next to a photo of the opening day of Universal Studios Florida.

Fans of Back to the Future will be transported back in time and recall the days where they could ride a DeLorean and try to bump Biff’s car on Back to the Future: The Ride.

A photo of the iconic New York rampage scene in the former KONGFRONTATION attraction can be found in the windows, as well as a memorable moment during Jaws.

The store is absolutely full of details and we love all of it.

Even Animal Actors got some love.

Of course, props inspired by The Mummy make an appearance as an ode to both the films and the Revenge of the Mummy attraction inside Universal Studios Florida.

The retro vibes are found throughout the store with vintage homeware decor. This could represent Men In Black: Alien Attack or Cabana Bay.

Hollywood Icons used to be a more common sight at the parks many year ago.

E.T. may be one of the most classic extra terrestrial films and was sure to be included.

A large collection of Universal merchandise is available, although we do expect the merchandise offerings to shift to include more retro movies at this store. We spotted the mischievous minions in the concept art of the new store just across the street. Newer films such as Despicable Me will likely have merchandise offered at the new location.

Classic Hollywood film set props fill the store, such as studio lights and a film camera on an old dolly.

Lots of Harry Potter memorabilia line the shelves. Fanged Flyer frisbees, Eeylops owl treats, and Jinx-Off spell protection kits will bring visitors to the store right into the film set of the iconic series.

It is likely that the Harry Potter memorabilia will stay in this store, although the merchandise offerings themselves may change when the new store opens.

It’s a bit sad, how Universal can’t reference anything related to the former Nickelodeon Studios. Not even photos.
