Reduced Hours & Capacity at Tokyo Disney Resort Extended Through March 21st

Tokyo Disney Resort has been operating with reduced hours and at severely reduced capacity since mid-January due to the ongoing State of Emergency in the four Prefectures that comprise the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. It seems that situation is going to continue for a while longer, as the Oriental Land Company indicated today.

In tandem with the Japanese government’s extension on the State of Emergency through March 21st, the Oriental Land Company announced today that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will continue to operate at a capacity of 5000 Guests from 10am to 7pm daily through March 21st.

Shops and restaurants closed at the emergency’s outset in January will also remain closed until further notice. Additionally, Disney Light the Night will not be held during this time.

Also, shopping on the Tokyo Disney Resort App for non-Guests will be extended beyond March 31st, with an end date to be determined later. Shoppers must be age 13 or older and possess a Japanese shipping address in order to purchase merchandise, and may only do so between 7am and 9:45am every day.
