REVIEW: Blueberry Mickey Waffle Platter is Now Available for Breakfast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Back in January, Hollywood Scoops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios started testing breakfast items in the morning, including drinks and cinnamon rolls. The drinks have returned and are joined by a platter of “classic” Mickey waffles.

Along with the waffle platter, guests can enjoy a Cutwater Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or Joffrey’s Coffee.

Mickey Waffle Platter – $9.49

Mickey-shaped waffles served with fresh blueberries, whipped cream, and syrup

The sign doesn’t adequately explain these waffles. They are actually filled with blueberries (you can see some of the blue peeking through), plus they come with a strawberry topping.

These blueberry waffles are great and were still fresh. They are the delicious Mickey waffles we all know and love, BUT with whole blueberries in the batter. FANTASTIC!

The whipped cream was fresh as well and held up nicely for photos.

The strawberry topping is quartered strawberries in their own sauce. It was sweet without being overly so.

Overall, this was a delicious breakfast we would definitely get again.

Make sure to read our review of the breakfast drinks, plus the new peanut-butter chocolate milkshake.

  1. Yes!
When my husband and I visited WDW in September for our wedding anniversary, Chef Matt at Chef Mickey’s made us a similar dish in honor of our anniversary.
If the Hollywood Studios waffles are anything like the Chef Mickey’s waffles it’s a DEFINITE yes.
