*NEW* Moroccan Seafood Couscous with Shrimp, Mussels, Olives, Preserved Lemons and Anchovy Breadcrumbs – $7.25

The seafood couscous looked inviting, although the flavor seems to be missing.

The shrimp and mussels were really well prepared. They weren’t fishy or chewy, however, they were not very well seasoned, leaving the dish terribly bland. There was a decent serving of seafood in this dish but the lack of flavor doesn’t make it worth it to us.

*NEW* Shakshuka: Moroccan Baked Eggs in a Spiced Eggplant and Tomato Stew – $5.50

The shakshuka was sadly incredibly bland as well. The pita should have been a nice fluffy addition to the plate, but it was stiff and dry. The dish itself is colorful and presented well but unfortunately the compliments end there.

*NEW* Lemon Magdalena Cake with Orange and Fig Compote and Sangria Gel – $4.75

The flavor of this cake reminds us of fig newton cookies, so we can’t help but call it a deconstructed fig newton. Luckily, this does seem significantly fresher than a packaged cookie.

We didn’t dislike the flavor of this dessert, but it still didn’t have a bold or unique enough flavor to make this our festival dessert of choice. The presentation is fun with the compote on top of the cake, allowing you to pick how much you want in each bite. Overall, this dessert isn’t bad, but there are definitely more exciting options.

*NEW* M.I.A. Beer Company Pink Hibiscus Orange Wheat Ale, Doral, FL – $4.50 / $8.50

*NEW* Maeloc Pineapple and Pear Hard Cider, Galicia, Spain (4.0% ABV) – $4.50 / $8.50

Total Wine describes this cider: ” Our cider is a new world take on traditional wild fermented Spanish-style ‘Sidra.’ Dry, crisp & balanced made with fresh pressed apples.”

Sangria – $5.00
