• As the transformation of EPCOT continues, flags representing each pavilion have been hoisted on the flagpoles at the entrance of the theme park, and Imagineer Zach Riddley shared images and videos of the flag-raising process on Instagram
• Enticed by this preview, we had to get an up-close look at the new flags for ourselves as they flew out in front of Spaceship Earth this morning
• And once dusk settled in, we got a chance to see the new Spaceship Earth lighting for ourselves too
• In addition to the new pavilion flags now flying in front of Spaceship Earth, EPCOT’s main entrance will be getting new music and a new nighttime lighting package
• It was an extremely windy morning, but we were still able to grab a video showcasing the new main entrance music so you can listen along here or down below in the videos section
• Today, workers were seen using a boom lift to perform more work on the Harmonious centerpiece ring that was brought out to World Showcase Lagoon last week

• The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival officially begins today and among all the fun is Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, a scavenger hunt throughout the park

New Merchandise

• Now that the 2021 Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has officially bloomed, check out this brand new Limited Edition MagicBand to commemorate the festival
• With a new festival comes new merchandise and for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, there are four lines of merchandise, each featuring either Minnie Mouse, Orange Bird, Spike the Bee, or Figment, plus some Annual Passholder-exclusive items
• Each year for the Flower & Garden Festival, gift cards are offered on a bracelet to make it easier when purchasing items from the festival booths — or if you’d just like to keep better track of your spending — and this year’s festival gift card designs feature Spike the Bee and Figment

• According to CNBC, The Walt Disney Company is closing at least 20% of its brick-and-mortar stores by the end of the year, as its focus shifts more and more towards e-commerce
