Greetings, World Travelers, from a bright and sunny day at EPCOT! We had a quiet day at the park today, but we still found some things we’d like to share with you. Let’s get started!
When we entered the park, we noticed that additional “Points of Light” had been installed on Spaceship Earth facing the park entrance. There are quite a few more there now than there were when we first saw these appear here last week.
On World Showcase Lagoon, all of the fireworks barges had been removed from around the five large Harmonious show barges.
Later in the morning, we saw one of the Harmonious show barges being pressure washed and painted. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
In the France Pavilion, we found more sections of pavement scored in preparation for removal and resurfacing.
In the Italy Pavilion, we found new lighting and an over-the-door sign holder had been installed at La Gelateria. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
In the Mexico Pavilion on The Gran Fiesta Tour, we found the dancer animatronic in the town scene had finally been returned, and was spinning up a storm.
Repainting of the doors of Disney Traders is imminent, but before the repainting can begin, the doors are being stripped of old paint.
In some areas, it appears that the paint has been sanded or stripped off.
Other areas have been covered in a paste stripper and then covered in plastic sheeting.
We encountered filming going on throughout the day around World Showcase, sometimes in some unexpected places. We’ll be keeping an eye out to see where this footage will pop up!
While looking for Limited Edition pins, we came across a new temporary display set up in Gateway Gifts for while Pin Traders is closed for pavement refurbishment.

We found two new Limited Edition pins while we were there. One was a pin celebrating Nurses Day 2021 and the other was the next installment of the Artfully Evil series featuring Scar from The Lion King. Keep an eye out on WDWNT for details about these pins!
We found two new PatcheD sets at Mouse Gear today. The first features a retro Mickey Mouse Club theme, and the second is a rainbow theme. Both retail for $14.99 each.
While strolling World Showcase, we saw a new treat at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe with this Chocolate Mickey Tart, available for $4.29. We also found a frozen version of the popular Viking Coffee available for $13.00.
Nearby at The Fjording, a youth leotard Elsa costume set is now available, which includes the leotard top, and a tulle skirt with attached leggings for $39.99.
We had a great time at EPCOT today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
