A new set of “points of light” fixtures have been installed on the face of Spaceship Earth in EPCOT. These fixtures are the first to be visible when approaching Spaceship Earth from EPCOT’s entrance.

So far, all of the “points of light” have been installed near the top of the iconic attraction and can be difficult to see from the ground.

Nestled in the corners of Spaceship Earth’s Alucobond panels, this new round of “points of light” is to the west side.

The small, circular fixtures are part of Spaceship Earth’s new lighting package as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”, honoring Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

The points will project a grid of light across the face of Spaceship Earth, turning it into a “beacon of magic.”
