PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT & Disney’s Hollywood Studios 4/8/21 (New Pollen-nation Exploration Prizes, New Inside Out Open Edition Pins, Additional Standby Entrance Sign Added to Runaway Railway, and More)

Hello everyone, and welcome to another beautiful day here at Walt Disney World! We started our day at EPCOT to check in on the construction projects here and to see what else we could find. Let’s get started!

With today being the first official day of maskless photos being allowed in the parks, we noticed that the signs reminding guests to keep their masks on during photos had been removed overnight.

On our way to check on construction, we took a moment to admire the wildflower mix that has been installed around the park recently. We love this fresh look!

We found significant progress had been made on the Innoventions East building, including window framing across the front.

In the France Pavilion, strips of new concrete were found in the area that usually holds the queue for the festival booth.

Subsequently, the registers and queue for the festival booth were moved to the opposite side of the building. As they had not laid ground markers for the queue, we believe this to be a temporary move until the concrete sets on the other side.

In the Morocco Pavilion, not much has changed, except for the shape of the scaffolding on the other side of the construction wall. We’re curious to see what it will look like when the refurbishment is complete.

The refurbishment of the bridge in the Italy Pavilion continues, with various portions of it wrapped in scrim fabric.

In the Mexico Pavilion, the same problems plague Gran Fiesta Tour. This scene still has the audio track severely misaligned with the visual track, making for silent action and the audio narrating nothing.

The dancer doll in the town scene has not yet returned. All other effects in this scene seem to be working well.

Just outside of the Mexico Pavilion, we noticed that this Festival Market was closed today. With most of the festival merchandise consolidated to Port of Entry, we suspect that this location will not be open any longer, or will at least not be selling festival merchandise.

With construction updates finished, we took a walk through Mouse Gear to see what might be new. We found two new phone cases for the Flower & Garden Festival, one featuring Spike the Bee in 3D, and one featuring Figment in 3D for Annual Passholders, both retailing for $34.99 each.

While at Mouse Gear, we found these fun new lounge shorts for $34.99.

Moving into World Showcase, we found this youth Spider-Man shirt at Disney Traders for $19.99.

While there, we also found two new tumblers as prizes for Spike’s Pollen-nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt featuring Minnie Mouse and Orange Bird, joining Figment and Spike the Bee.

In the Tea Caddy in the United Kingdom Pavilion, we found a glitzy hat fit for a queen for only $27.99.

In Stein Haus in the Germany Pavilion, we found three new women’s tops, starting with this shirt featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, retailing for $36.99.

Next was this cropped shirt retailing for $29.99.

Lastly, we found this tank also retailing for $29.99.

We found three new open edition pins today featuring characters from “Inside Out”. These pins are available at Imageworks for $9.99 each.

We had a great time at EPCOT, but we weren’t quite done yet. Next, we headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what we could find there.

In construction news, we saw that the “Fantasmic!” queue banners have been updated, and are now bright and colorful. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We also found this new Standby Entrance sign added to the front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

At Keystone Clothiers is a new addition to the Black Widow merchandise line with this hat featuring the super-spy’s logo for $27.99.

While at Keystone Clothiers, a new line of Star War clothing by Her Universe is available for women and in youth sizes, featuring a black and white marble all-over print and the phrase “Never Tell Me The Odds” on the inside neckband.

The collection includes a sweatshirt, tank, shirt, and leggings for youth and adults, with prices ranging from $29.99 to $44.99.

On our way out, we stopped in Mickey’s of Hollywood and discovered another pair of lounge shorts, this one featuring neon castle icons. These shorts retail for $34.99.

We had a wonderful time at Walt Disney World, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
