Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! We’re back and ready to check out the latest updates from around the parks. Let’s see what’s happening around the resort.
Making our way through CityWalk, we noticed that the Riverfront bar is now serving appetizers as well as cocktails and wine by the glass. The new appetizers are a Meat & Cheese Sampler, Caprese Salad, and Wine Snack Pack. This might be a great stop for a light snack and a drink after a long day in the park or before heading to dinner. The Riverfront bar is located across from Bigfire.
Inside the Islands of Adventure Trading Company, a new “Class of ’21” tie-dye shirt is available for $30.
The T-Rex photo op has returned near Thunder Falls Terrace. We’ve been so eager to see what would happen in this area surrounded by construction walls, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the addition of this big dino. We’ll be happy when the walls come down and we can get our photo taken. Take a closer look at the T-Rex photo op here.
Work continues on the pathway leading towards the bypass bridge. We wonder if we might see the Jurassic Park vehicle returned to this area soon, since there’s a small area roped off.
The Watering Hole has a newly refreshed sign. It’s nice to see so many updates around Jurassic Park.
Another coat of paint has been added to the Dinostore sign to give it a multi-colored look that matches the Discovery Center sign. The Burger Digs sign will most likely be painted to match.
We caught a proposal on the bridge in front of Hogwarts Castle.
There’s been a lot of activity happening around Fieval’s Playland lately. We spotted techs working near the slide today.
The Mardi Gras decoration that fell over during the storm earlier this week has returned.
