MouseGear continues to operate from its temporary location, but more progress on its permanent home’s interior renovation is now visible. On the south side of the former Innoventions East, window coverings have been removed, allowing a sneak peek inside.

Only a small section of windows is uncovered, and the barrier is still up around the building.

The round lighting fixtures (which evoke feelings of the old Communicore skylights in some ways) are clearly visible and appear to be nearly complete. In the concept art below, you can see the lighting fixtures on the right-hand side (the back wall of the store in the old layout, facing towards Test Track). Similar fixtures are also being installed in the upcoming dining venues taking the place of Electric Umbrella.

There are still some temporary work lights installed. You can also see the columns from the concept art in the background.

The newly-installed windows on the east side of the building allow for a clear view through the shop. As we can see in the concept art, the building will be mostly glass, allowing the beautiful Florida sunshine to light the store.

In the center, construction equipment can be seen as renovations are ongoing.
