Now that the final piece of bunting was added to Cinderella Castle, the icon’s 50th anniversary makeover is moving up. A crane to install decorations higher up will be pulling into Magic Kingdom soon, so construction walls have been erected around where it will sit.

Guests walking through the castle breezeway will notice the walls as they enter Fantasyland and pass the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table.

The walls block part of the Sir Mickey’s facade but the store is still open.

Signs on the walls direct guests to the store’s open entrances.

The crane will arrive overnight and tower next to Cinderella Castle for likely several weeks.

A wall also blocks off the end of the castle bypass to the east.

Guests can still visit the wishing well on the bypass, but cannot use it to easily enter the castle courtyard.
