In celebration of Earth Day this Thursday, the Disney Parks Blog has announced the debut of 100% recyclable plastic-free packaging for the classic doll line.
The packaging is sustainably sourced paper that can be recycled curbside with your regular recycling pickup.
Classic Dolls with Plastic-Free Packaging – $24.99

We found the dolls and their eco-friendly boxes in the Magic Kingdom at Sir Mickey’s.

The line includes 15 different dolls including Moana, Anna and Elsa, Jasmine, Ariel, Tiana, and more.

The boxes feature a photo of the doll instead of a clear plastic panel window.

The Disney Small World program is responsible for the environmental sustainability programs across the entire Disney company.

Disney boasts that the new packaging is reusable as well as recyclable. The inside of the box has pictures and backgrounds related to the character so they can be incorporated into play.
The new packaging is currently only available at Walt Disney World Resort but will be available globally later this year.
What do you think of the new packaging? Let us know in the comments.
So what is the doll made of?
Wow, it took them HOW LONG to do this? 30+ years?
This is amazing!! The switch to less plastic is so much easier than people think. It might be more expensive but if anyone can afford it, Disney can!♻️
I love this! And the dolls. Can they be ordered on-line?
