In celebration of Earth Day this Thursday, the Disney Parks Blog has announced the debut of 100% recyclable plastic-free packaging for the classic doll line.

The packaging is sustainably sourced paper that can be recycled curbside with your regular recycling pickup.

Disney boasts that the new packaging is reusable as well as recyclable. The inside of the box has pictures and backgrounds related to the character so they can be incorporated into play.

The new packaging is currently only available at Walt Disney World Resort but will be available globally later this year.

  1. This is amazing!! The switch to less plastic is so much easier than people think. It might be more expensive but if anyone can afford it, Disney can!♻️
