While Rainforest Cafe reopened with the rest of Disney’s Animal Kingdom last July, the restaurant’s entrance from inside the park remain closed. Guests could only reach the cafe from its entrance outside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
As of today, the archway is no longer roped off and guests can make their way into Rainforest Cafe from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but the traffic is indeed two-way.
The entrance leads guests into a courtyard between the park and restaurant.
Guests dining at Rainforest Cafe can also exit through this courtyard and enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom through a separate set of touch-points from the main entrance.
