The storied history of the EPCOT and Innoventions East continues. With the most recent iteration of Innoventions closed in 2019, a complete renovation is underway as part of the reimagining of EPCOT.
The building, which also formerly housed Electric Umbrella until 2020, is slated to become the home of a new restaurant and Starbucks location.
Work continues on the interior. To the left, round framework descends from the ceiling.
In the concept art, you can see what the tubes look like when completed.
On the right, metal beams for support columns are pictured, along with more framework for the ceiling.
Crews are working inside the building with scaffolding and small lifts.
MouseGear will once again fill its former home as well.
Work continues on the roof. Yellow safety fences keep the crews safe during construction.
So far, the colorful awning has remained (mostly) intact.
Scaffolding remains in the breezeway as ceiling work continues.
A large panel to the left of the breezeway is open, possibly for the movement of large equipment or ease of access for the crews. This is where Club Cool is rumored to go.
Over on the other side, we get a better view of the rooftop crew, as well as the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind building.
A crane is being used for some exterior work under the awning on the right. Tents are set up behind the construction walls for crew and the staging of equipment and materials.
A closer look at some of the window installation and exterior work on the west side of the building.
A second rooftop crew is hard at work.
Another look at the gutted interior as progress continues.

Are the folks in the art above artistic renderings of Real people or are they Fake like imagineer Zach Riddley who i still believe is a social media persona managed by different imagineers (depends on who is free at the time). If someone sues Zach Riddley; he will get a rude awakening at the begin of the trial.
